Good grief! I had no idea I was so far behind in writing on my blog. Gah! Terrible! I apologise. Well! Long, long ago on Valentine's Day, Shonaidh, Alice, Rachel and I went out. First we went to Bradfords, an old-fashioned tea room. I had heard good things about it, and thought it might be more authentic than the Mackintosh tea rooms (which are picturesque, but the service is neglectful at best and the food isn't very good either!). It was just a plain, dusty little tea room. The food was good though, and we had a wonderful time. I was thrilled that they served lavender tea! Loose! It was lovely.
After the tea room, we went to the cinema to see Warm Bodies, which is a modern spin on Romeo & Juliet (not as tragic), with zombies! I loved it! It was a happy tummy movie.

A picture from "Warm Bodies". Never thought I'd say this about a zombie film, but I totally loved it! The fellow is played by Nicholas Hoult, who played the little boy in "About a Boy" |
Yay--another post!! Well, at least the view from the tea room was lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, and all of you, too--didn't want to sound as if you all weren't lovely!!
